Sawyer Beckett has never done love, but watching his best friends all couple off together, he wonders if he's missing something.

Setting eyes on Emmett Young, Sawyer gets hit with love like a brick wall, and suddenly understands what it means to be in love and be so protective.

But Emmett has her own issues and past, and isn't an easy conquest to the infamous Sawyer. Can he win her heart and prove this is the real deal?

This is definitely the installment that could challenge Emerge in every way. I loved reading this story from Sawyer' eyes and really getting an insight into his mind and thoughts.

The love battle between Sawyer and Emmett was captivating, as the two stubborn minds were constantly put head to head. We also got more of Dane and Laney and their story marginally progressed in the background which was good support to the overall series.

The usual Caveman attributes were adopted by Sawyer and it got a little tiresome. All the men in this series have it and it runs a bit thin after a while as they may as well all be the one character... But it was still adorable in what ways Sawyer performed his caveman act.

Insta-love: Hrm, the one downside in this - I HATE insta-love so much. It's in so many novels and I can't believe it most of the time and just roll my eyes at it. Especially in a Sawyer situation where he sleeps around and doesn't have feelings so it seems more unrealistic and "novelistic" (e.g. something only ever happens in romance novels). Sawyer fell so hard for Emmett just on sight and knew NOTHING about her and it just so happened she lived up to all of his expectations and dreams? One thing we all get from The Great Gatsby is the real thing will never match the perfect movie-reel dream played on repeat in your mind so it was a tad annoying that he remained a love-sick puppy from the get go...

Sawyer as a character is amazing - I prefer him to Dane any day. He has great wit and such a carefree attitude, you can't help but smirk and laugh at his one-liners and comebacks. So seeing him fall so much for Emmett and her baby and be willing to go above and beyond to be there for her, it was so endearing and exciting.

Emmett... okay it took me a while to warm to her although I thought her character was brilliantly constructed and depicted. She encapsulated the helpless damsel in distress but yet trying to prove to everyone she was okay. I got a little fed up of her juvenile "running away" drama - Sawyer had gone ABOVE AND BEYOND to prove to her and I felt so sorry for him that she kept pushing him away and jumping to conclusions when it didn't feel like she really had as much reason to as she thought. Give the guy a break! It was clear in so many scenarios that his heart was in the right place and guys and girls definitely differ on what decisions/situations are considered important or note-worthy.

Overall:

As already said, this really challenged Emerge for being my favourite in the series... but Emerge has definitely clinched the title! I think if there was a little more depth to this book it would've come out on top, but I think nothing can compare to the initial punch from Emerge...

Horrible. How the first 2 books were good and then this heap of insta-love-fell in love with a stripper trash.

This one was great. I didn't like Evan's book much and I kept looking for Laney and Dane's parts so there you go, E&W didn't do it for me.
Sawyer on the other hand has the naughtinnes and wit that made me laugh out loud IN PUBLIC!!! and has the ferocity and passion that only him can pull off.
Seeing things through Sawyer's eyes was awesome, the first third of the book was hilarious, the way he describes Dane and Laney, aka Daney, the witty come backs and his blatant sense of humor...it was great.
Why did I give it 4 stars and not 5? well ..because Emmet didn't convince me 100% . Her big drama was huge and her loneliness and need of being saved was kind of pitiful, she reminded me in a way of another character I have read from another popular series that stroke me like the epitome of unlucky and I cannot connect with that kind of people, fictional or not, I just can't. Just to clarify my point, take this part when she was evicted from her block of flats and she needed somewhere to sleep and she goes to a Crew's party because she just didn't want to miss it and didn't have anything else to do, then she asks Sawyer if she can spend the night with him....ok....Why didn't she go and got herself a room to crash in BEFORE going to a party?....thing like that put me off and then Sawyer's break down when he realizes that he can't be the hero because of his lifestyle and doesn't know what to do because he feels bad about her waiting tables....come on!
And last but not least, Dane, the coolest guy on Earth, the guy is a big child!!! he is what? 22? and he is the "father" of them all....Sawyer always says that Dane can handle his problems but hey! he is a young guy!!!! He deserves another book in which we see him fulfill his dream which is to have Laney as his wife....but do not make her pregnant yet!!!!!

This is Sawyer and Emmett's story. I loved how Sawyer has grown through the series. Emmett has had a hard life and is trying to do what she needs to do to survive. Sawyer is juggling work and school, wanting to sshow that he can stand on his own. This story is well written and relatable. The rest of the characters from the series are also growing and encourage both Sawyer and Emmett to do what is necessary. I love this series but this book has been my favorite!

I read this book when I found it on Kindle Unlimited.

Now most of the books I read on KU can be very badly written. I was very pleased when I read this and fell in love with the series!

I've read all the books that I was able to in the series.

This book is about Sawyer Beckett and Emmett Young. All 300 pages were a quick read. Sawyer is that typical alpha man that some romance writers write about. He is a take charge (in a good way) rough man. He makes bad decisions but for the most part has good intentions. Entice is book 3 in the series and I enjoyed all the other books.

There are no hidden twists or sad plot lines in this story. It's a true love, love at first sight type of book. There was one issue that I had with it. I read the story of Sawyer and Emmetts daughter first. And with a 20 year difference (they are all young when they get their story), the dialogue is the same. 20 years ago I didn't speak the way I do now. And I'm older then the characters of the stories. And the technology is still there as well. Cell phones with texting, easy texting not my little Nokia phone that took 2 minutes to type a hello (anyone remember QWTY Keyboards?).

Other then that, I really enjoyed the books and can't wait to see what else Ms. Hall has in store for us!

Sigh. Sawyer just didn't live up to Dane and Evan. He was overbearing and alpha, but not in the same sweet and endearing way. Rather, Sawyer just seemed sexist and self-centered. I liked Emmett well enough, but I wasn't a fan of the way she and Sawyer handled her "secret".

I also wasn't a fan of the fact that we didn't really see anyone outside of the main couple here. We get brief glimpses of the other characters, but it wasn't an immersive experience like the previous two installments in this series.

I will definitely read about Zach when his story comes out, but I almost wish I had skipped this one.

Wonderful!

Absolutely adored Sawyer! One of the best characters I have ever read in a romance novel. Funny, sexy, responsible- Sawyer has many layers and experiences quite a bit of growth throughout the story. His thoughts are hilarious and a real treat for the reader.

I liked Emmett too, but not as much as Sawyer. At times, she was too weak for my liking. Her secret was underwhelming to me based on her actions. I was expecting more.

Overall, this is a well-written love story. It was engaging, hilarious, hot and has a satisfying conclusion. I look forward to checking out more from this author and highly recommend this title.

Entice is the perfect name for Sawyers book: Lure, tempt, seduce, attract = Sawyer.

SE Hall is amazing yet again. I've been a fan of Sawyer from the first time we see him in Emerge and we find out he's tall, bad-ass looking with short hair and dark blue eyes, a killer smile and big muscles. He just stole my heart and I've been waiting for his story for a long time. The wait was totally worth it and this is the best book of the series for me! We've all grown to love smart mouthed Sawyer but we get to see inside the real man now. He's just amazing. I literally laughed out loud through the entire book while my heart was melting. I finished the book in less than a day and I can't wait to read it again. He sets his sights on Emmett, a girl who is a perfect match for Sawyer but she's resists him. Their story is funny and heart warming and happy and sad and frustrating and beautiful. If I could give it 10 stars I would!

Sigh...thank you for giving me more Sawyer! I can't wait for more!!

SAWYER, SAWYER, SAWYER.

There's no other words, okay, maybe I have a few. I devoured this book in one sitting. I loved it to put it simply. Sawyer is definitely my favourite out of all 'the crew', he's sexy, broody and fiercely protective and I loved watching him grow into a man.

Without giving away any spoilers, his feelings towards 'Alex' were so sweet and natural I found myself grinning like a little schoolgirl! You'll see why when you read. Absolutely my favourite of the series.

I didn't however like the way Dane was portrayed in this sometimes as a 'caveman' growling at Laney etc...I thought it portrayed him in a different way to how he was in his book and put me off him a little bit. But hey ho, move over Evan and Dane I've got a new book boyfriend now!
