Once again, 5 stars is not enough of a rating for this sequel as it wasn't for Shantaram. Every line was beautiful and opened a whole new world of thought within it. I enjoyed reading some of my favorite characters again and I heard their distinct voices so clearly. The voice of India itself is particularly powerful here. I am now enjoying the cut scenes and lines from the book with GDR's Author's Edition because I just can't get enough GDR and never will. Shantaram and Mountain Shadow are so epic, so real, and so a part of me. It will be difficult and near impossible for any book to top this. Thank you.
Too much dialogue, not much plot going even almost 10% in. And it reads too much like it’s Apple TV series, which didn’t captivate me. I enjoyed Shantaram but the magic ends there
This was a complete waste of time. It was like: "Hey, I've written 500 pages already. Okey, I should finish this book in 50 pages. ...And they live happily ever after"

Loved the original, put this down unfinished. May try again and update sometime in the future.
