Post-apocalyptic survivor finds a plant in the woods on a supply run and becomes best friends with it. The concept for the book is really unique and fun, but was executed rather shallowly. A lot of the inter personal issues in the book were very forced and fabricated and could have been solved if any of the characters were written with any semblance of emotional intelligence. I enjoyed the read for what it was, but wished it wasn't lacking as much as it is.
