A M A Z I N G. I can't wait to read the second book.
Weird but intriguing premise. Reminded me of a more adult spin of the Lorien Legacies. There was a lot of death and subterfuge which I thoroughly enjoyed. The stakes seemed very real and the writing and plot reminded the readers of that. I will say there was not enough light shined on the entire cast of characters. Some got better development than others and I was left wanting more.
Meh. I think the authors focused more on their puzzle, rather than the puzzle for the PLOT of the BOOK.
It was OK. Unnecessary love triangle. Too much characters. Confusing at times. Edgy, cringy-at-times narration. Felt like it would be better as a movie. But original and interesting plot-wise.
3.5 tähteä
Viihdyttävä, mielenkiintoinen, nappaava. Meno Nälkäpelin tyyliin veristä, porukkaa lahdataan aikamoiseen tahtiin. Osa hahmoista (=Christopher) ärsyttäviä. Arvoituksia en taida lähteä ratkomaan, mutta seuraan mielenkiinnolla mitä tuleman pitää.

I know this book is supposed to be a puzzle and there are probably many clues in the all the dull writing, but that is exactly what it is, dull, under researched and full of silly figures.
Who cares that it will take me 3 min and 22 seconds to write this bad review? we don't need to have all the figures continuously extrapolated into the nth degree but that is what the author did which made the book annoying to read, If these were clues to the puzzle the were distracting and the story is very shallow.
The places may be well researched but the back story is terrible. Confusing issues such as x-ray imaging versus metal detection shows that the author has no real idea of the greater scheme of things and has written this like an adolescent essay for a writing class.

Simply the most original, astounding book I have read in a long time. I'll be honest and say that I did doubt it in the beginning, thinking it would just be another Hunger Games, but it is completely different. It left me with more and more questions, the urge to solve the puzzle, kept me up all night. The way it was written was very refreshing. All in all, it is simply a fascinating read. I need more of it.
This book is boring. This world is boring. The sentences are boring. Everything is boring. After reading the prologue and the first paragraph.
Sorry was that a sentence fragment because that's how this book is written.
DNf'd after the first 3 pages, I flipped through it and nothing was worthy.
Edit: Just to note, I received this book from the publisher in exchange for my honest review prior to the release date of the book.
