Really was expecting dragons (based on the information on the book flap) and did not get dragons. So disappointed at the lack of dragons. Despite that, pretty darn good.

Maybe 3.5? Interesting read, if not a little confusing at times.

Ganz ok. Muss die Reihe nicht unbedingt weiter verfolgen.

This was a RIDE. In my opinion is The Hunger Games meets sci-fi.
The writing is so bold with its short sentences but it got a little confusing especially in the beginning. It's so descriptive in it's own way that makes the book even more compeling.
This has such an interesting and diverse cast. And because is told in all of their perspectives you don't know who will win or if anybody wins at all. You can't even trust in the characters because you don't know how far they'd go to win Endgame.
This book takes you around the world from America to China to Italy, and it's so well crafted. You learn about different locations that are confusing and inexplicable to humanity (Stonehenge, the Terracotta Army, etc.) in the book's storyline. And I liked those little twists that the author gave.
The relations between all the players are so untrustworthy that it's fascinating.
It was certainly an interesting read and I recommend it to who is into games and sci-fi.

meh

I LOVED this book. It kept me on the edge of my seat, while simultaneously giving me relatable characters. This book is nothing like thg, in my opinion. Give this book a read! I can't wait for the next one!:)

I got this book for Christmas, and enjoyed it. To the point where I'll buy the rest of the series.

The reason it wasn't 5 stars for me is that it told the story of 12 people decently while instead I would rather it tell the story of one or two wonderfully. Of course Sarah and Jago are the main characters, but others steal attention that should be on them.

Maybe the second book will change.

This novel was amazing. The plot line of the story was full of action, plot twists, interesting characters, and was just overall intriguing. Towards the end of the book, I was finally able to differentiate the different characters because there are so many and they are from all over the globe. At times I had to stop and think who was who because of course, some characters are more important than other. At some points, the novel was a bit too graphic for me, but I understand why it is. Such detail allowed me to really understand the situation and made me feel like I was in the same room as the players. Although, sometimes I didn't understand whatever action a player had just performed because I simply couldn't imagine it in my head.
LET'S NOT FORGET THE DRAMATIC ENDING. WHICH WAS AWESOME AND CONFUSING AT THE SAME TIME. ha no spoilers for you!
Overall an outstanding book! I liked it so much that I bought the next two books! Thank god that the last book recently came out because I know I am not a patient person and waiting for the last book to come out may have killed me with suspense. I am so excited to start Sky Key within the next 24 hours or even right now!

Everything. Everything about this book is absolutely amazing! It is so hard to put down. So much work was put into this novel. I am super excited to read Sky Key! I still can't get over the ending of this one! I mean, the subtle romance, the carnage, the puzzles. The people you think will make it don't, or so you think. This book is a major master piece that I can't put into words.
