Reading this I understand why Gothel did what she did,but it doesn't excuse her actions. It was a really fun read and I will probably read it again on its own. But you need to read the entire series to understand what happens in this book.

While I feel it took a little while to get going, once it did it started to break my heart. I couldn't help but root for Mother Gothel. I had always wondered why she was so mean and wicked because people don't just start out that way. Something happens that is a turning point and we got to see what that turning point was. The more I read Valentino's books, the angrier I get with the Odd Sisters.

Not as good as the previous books.
