3.8 AVERAGE

The Husband's Secret sounded like it was going to be a good read. My book club selected this book and it was kind of slow at first and then it got better. I wouldn't say it was great but it was definitely average. I liked all of the mysteries and who done its. I couldn't find a character I liked. They all had their own agenda but no one stuck out. I don't often read this type of fiction so maybe that's not why I didn't enjoy it. It is a quick read.

4.5 stars. Really good read. I liked the way everything was tied together.

I really enjoyed this book. It got a bit confusing as it jumped from one person to the next, but the story kept me in it the whole time. I thought it was weird how they revealed the mystery half way through but I loved seeing the after effects of everything

Fast read but a great story.

I love following the different characters in Liane Moriarty’s novels. I love how the characters’ stories all intertwine by the end. I was able to relate on so many different levels, as a mom, as a wife, as a human.
I also loved the epilogue! Just another great book!

If I hadn’t read this in relation to Big Little Lies, I like have liked it more. But the most interesting thematic elements weren’t flushed out until the epilogue, and it was far more predictable.

Interesting read. The ending was surprising and a bit disappointing. Nothing was resolved for the characters. We got a glimpse of the future. Some pieces I liked, some not so much. All in all an engaging read, but I didn’t love it.
