Slow to start but what a get build!! I was on the edge of my seat.

3.5

Amy is married to successful businessman Jason. She lives in a beautiful house and has everything she could wish for. To anyone outside it all looks so perfect. But behind closed doors it's a different story. Jason is controlling, abusive and violent and Amy is terrified of him.

Amy is desperate to leave, but it's impossible as Jason watches her every move. But one day an opportunity comes along and Amy takes a huge risk...

All the lies is the first book I've read by this author, but won't be my last. It was an easy quick read full of tension and lots of twists. Recommended.

A lot of people really liked this book. Which just goes to show you that each book is unique and isn’t for everyone. This one wasn’t for me. The premise was interesting, but I really had to suspend my disbelief to read through to the end. I think if the book had been longer and the different aspects of the plot had more room to develop and play out, it may have worked more for me. It was an easy and fast read, with twists and turns.
tense medium-paced
Plot or Character Driven: A mix
Strong character development: Complicated
Loveable characters: Yes
Diverse cast of characters: No
Flaws of characters a main focus: Yes

Quick and easy read. Could’ve easily finished it in one day if time permitted. It was intriguing and I was anxious to find out what happened next, but the end was simultaneously anticlimactic and bizarre. It was a short boom and could’ve used more pages to allow everything to be more fully flushed out. Didn’t hate it but honestly just fell flat.

The writing wasnt great and the plot was just predictable

Worth the read!!

This was such a different story line than what I'm used to. In the beginning I honestly felt the gaslighting so strongly. Then as we went along and I understood where the prolog fit into the story, I couldn't get over it. This was a great thriller and a great refresher from the other stories I've been into recently.
