Už to tak prostě je, ty nejfenoménálnější knihy hodnotím 5 hvězdičkami, protože si to vážně zaslouží. Fenomén mě dostal, obzvlášť ten konec... <3

This book had no right to make me want to cry like this. It was amazing and a really good sequel to the first book. While Tess did get on my nerves sometimes, I did like the way the plot flowed and how I didn't want to put it down because things were just so interesting from both Day and June's perspective.

That ending though... oof. I was dying inside. I'm glad I borrowed the last book from the library because I will be reading it right away because I want to know what happens next so badly.

These days Dystopian novels and second books are extremely lacking, I am happy to say that Marie Lu's Prodigy is an exception on both counts. The action remains high throughout most of the novel and I didn't feel at any point as this was a "filler" middle book. Now I'm only left to wonder what could possibly happen in book three. . .

I recommend this book for anyone who likes Young Adult Dystopia DONE RIGHT and likes a fast passed story-line.

I do not recommend this book for anyone who likes to find philosophical meaning in story-lines or good writing. (Not to say that the writing is bad . . . believe me, it isn't. I'm just trying to say that the writing isn't exactly up to "classic" standards. Yeah, you know those descriptive words some people skim through:).)

This book begins just after book one left off and jumps strait into the fray. This book also sees the development of a love triangle (or is it a love square?) but unlike most books I felt that these relationships were fairly well done despite some minor inconsistencies and I loved the fact that most of the characters were memorable in there own way, and hated the (minor spoiler) cliffhanger ending like any reader should. Another point of note was the formatting as in the color of the text: switching back and forth between blue and black. The change in ink cover was one of the first things that caught my eye while reading book one and I found it a clever (though slightly odd) way to keep readers from becoming confused about whose mind they were sharing. Other books that switch perspective could defiantly use this technique.

I will defiantly read the next book in this series "Champion," and probably as soon as it comes out . . . I see a fight over a fictional novel with members of my household in my future . . . Ah, family drama.

While I do prefer the overall plot of the first book, the sequel is an almost perfect continuation to legend!

The side characters are a lot more developed in this one, the world building has greatly expanded as well and it really made me emotional at times

And the best part again was the main duo.

I love how their relationships was explored in this, both it's ups and downs, and how they still went through all the trouble together

The only reason I didn't give this book full five stars is because while I don't hate love triangles as much as I used to, I didn't find the ones featured in this book that compelling.

While I did find some aspects intriguing like the relationship between Anden and June and Tess's doubts and jealousy, I didn't feel like they contributed much to the narrative outside of sparse but well done characterization.

Also a bit of spoilers ahead but I feel a bit ripped off because we got a very interesting take of a gay person (not saying who) working in an very authoritarian government but that was only explored in one chapter and in a few paragraphs in a different one

Was just not for me, I didn’t love Legend and Prodigy was going in a direction that I could already tell I was not going to enjoy.

I enjoyed this book but I felt it was missing something that the first book had, what I'm not entirely sure.
There seemed to be a lot of time where not much was happening, it seemed like there was just a lot of dead space. It also seemed like June and Day had an almost complete character turn around, they didn't really grow and Day especially seemed like a completely different person.
I'm excited though to see where the 3rd book takes the rest of this series, the ending was a tad bit open ended so I'm excited to see what's gonna happen.

ESTOY LEYENDO OTRA HISTORIA?????????

Gracias.
