Pretty good

Good story, loved the characters, not very realistic and kind of confusing storyline, and some spelling errors, but I didn’t hate it! I’ll be looking for more books to read by this author.

Sins and deceit is the perfect description for this book. Lorenzo seeks out Catalina for devious reasons, but he falls fast and hard and can’t escape their worlds colliding any longer. Cat has spent years distancing herself from her family, vowing to never be pulled back in. When she learns about who Lorenzo really is, her only choice is love or loss.

I enjoyed Because You're Mine. It was sexy. There was steam. There was action and suspense. It was over the top goodness that I most definitely enjoyed. I am so invested in these characters and cannot wait to see what happens next.

Lorenzo and Catalina's story, definitely a great story full of mafia, twist, and emotional turmoil. It's dual POV and the audiobook is narrated by Scarlet Chase and Stephen Dexter, I really enjoyed Stephen's narration he was on point, creating the perfect voice for Lorenzo, accent and all. The emotions were all there, however, Scarlet was a bit different from what I expected, she did good but I loved Stephen more. The story is fantastic, with great pace, and all the brilliant things Claire Contreras is known for. A must-hear for any mafia trope lover.
