This is my first Claire Contreras book (I know. Like where tf have I been right?). I'm pretty sure I have added a new author to my favorites list. 💗💗💗
This book. *Sigh.* Y'all, you know it's good when you fall in love with the characters and then get pissed that the book is a stand alone! But why?! 😫😭 I want to read more about Gio and Violetta, Emma, and Joe and his wife... I want to read about all the Costellos and Masserias!
It's that kind of book. It's the suck you in kind. It's mafia suspense without being too dark, swoony romance without being too easy-breezy, and 🔥 sex without feeling trite. It's the best of all worlds and should be immediately placed on your #TBR. But in all seriousness, @clairecontreras, you got me hooked and now I need another fix! Can't wait for for whatever is released next! 💗💗💗

I think I saw a tiktok on this book and decided it was intriguing enough to read. While I didn't hate it, I definitely had to push myself to continue and finish the story.
