This book is a nice teenager romance. It's an easy and lovely read about first love and death mixed together.
I enjoyed this book even though it was a little immature for my adult self, but it was an easy bedtime read.
I would definitely recommend this book to 13 year old me and any other teens out there who love a good romance!

After the first few chapters, I was fully expecting to end up giving this a two. But either the writing improved throughout the book, or I was just too invested to notice, and I ended up in tears and fully enjoying it.

So well written and it’s a terrible ending but so good written. It’s even more heart-breaking then the movie!

Midnight Sun features the vibe we know from The Fault in Our Stars and Everything Everything, but it contributes with its own sound.
Touching and heartwrecking.

I will admit that despite Midnight Sun being a very short book, I struggled to finish it by the end of the book I just felt exhausted from forcing myself to finish it.
I loved the idea that the author Trish Cook had to give XP, a rare condition called xeroderma pigmentosa, the spotlight while informing the public about the disease. Unfortunately, I wish the author had focused more on the disease itself, instead of Katie, the main character, finding love and risking her life to experience it and be normal. I do believe that everyone deserves to have love in their life, I just feel that it in this particular story took away from the story.

The way the author decided to end Midnight Sun, was extremely odd. It literally took me a few minutes to realize that was going on and connect what happened a few pages prior to the last page. I read the last page, and honestly thought it was a memory of Katie's from when she was younger.

I don't feel that this is a book I would come to read again. It simply wasn’t interesting to read and I quickly grew bored.

Excuse me while I go curl up and cry now! But such a good book too but if you don’t want to cry I wouldn’t read it. But at the same time if you need a really good cry read this book!
