I need to find the sequel and see how this is resolved
I love it when Wolverine gets some spotlight. He's my ideal man.
Full disclaimer/confession: I only picked up this book because of WandaVision. I heard so much hype about how this book was going to be a strong influence on the show, and decided to give it a go. I enjoyed it just about as much as I thought I would. I felt pretty overwhelmed much of the time, knowing little to nothing about Marvel outside of the MCU and Bendis' Ultimate Spider-Man comics series. I didn't like the X-men in the latter, or here, particularly well. The plot is a bit tricky to follow with those unfamiliar with other comics storyline, but not as bad as I feared. The cast of characters is quite large, but there were enjoyable moments with many of them. It leaves off on a substantial cliffhanger which I'm inclined to explore at some point in the not-too-distant future.

For most of this volume I felt like it was really good, that it was setting up something incredible and that the climax would be fantastic. The other world stuff was cool, and the consequences were more than I could have expected.
And then... it sort of fizzles. Big things happen, I was surprised, but there wasn't really much of a conclusion. They replaced one problem with, arguably, a bigger problem, and then left it. So I'm mildly annoyed that I need to figure out what follows up to this.
Still, it was a pretty decent volume and reading this while WandaVision is coming out is neat. Maybe figure out what comes before and after for better context, but even without it I'd recommend it well enough.
