Whaaaaat we got heists now?? Dang this series just gets more and more interesting as it goes along. Once again - I loved our main characters! King and Dirk were great to read about. I loved how King could be such a confident smartass but could also be real and vulnerable, and Falcon has such a bloody big heart.

This one is, together with Hudson's Luck, my least favorite book in this series.
Normally I appreciate a good Heist-Story... but some of the dynamics and stuff going on here just did not vibe with me.
King and Falcon - I refuse to call him Dirk! - have a weird relationship. And in the beginning, I do find it somewhat problematic. Especially considering how gullible King can be at times.
And until the end, I could not really get on board with their relationship. There was simply no trust and understanding going on between them - even though they constantly assured each other that there was...
I just had my problems. I still liked it somewhat, but yeah... not everyone can like everything^^

As heist stories go this is a little flat and so are the characters. We had a set up of two types of personality and then neither of them had that personality again. I think this was meant to be a gay retelling of one of the Oceans movies. I tried to get in to the heist aspect but wasn't invested. I tried to get into the romance side of it but it was formulaic and rushed.

There was a few things set up in the story that I was surprised didn't go the way I was assuming they would. Secondary characters really only served a purpose to have one of the main characters have a conversation; they didn't add or move the story on. Even though there were some obvious ways to use them.

I'm waiting to see what other Wilde family members can be dug up for stories in the future...!

Super tome 7!

Honestly? I love this book because it's set in Europe and I can relate to the places. And of course I love the story. King is such a great character and falcon has the biggest heart. A great read. ❤️❤️❤️
