I liked this extended view into The Realm (lots more magical people) and particularly enjoyed Charity’s expanding badassery as a warrior fae.

I quite enjoyed this one. I think there will be another book but the cliffhanger is soft. The MCs end on a good note but there's still the worry of her 'vision' coming to pass.
Anyways, the first half was non stop action and got a little tiring to read. Then the middle part where she meets her 'people' and convalesces was kinda frustrating. It made sense after the fact, but it still had me gnashing my teeth a bit with the way the Fae treated her friends and that she seemed somehow oblivious to it. But like I said, it was important to the story arc and made sense in a fate over personal autonomy kinda way.
The last 15% was a wonderful wind up to it all.
So only 3 stars because I found the book kinda uneven in pacing.
Really looking forward to the next book!
Safety is fine

Spoiler
no OM OW stuff but of course there are Fae flirting with Devon. And there's a Fae jackass that the Queen would like her to marry. But neither her or Devon notice as their eyes are only for each other. You spend the book knowing that Devon will likely leave her for her own good at some point, and he does, but it wasn't as crushing as I feared because Charity is smart and has faith in Devon.

Another romantic pairing that ends with "i must leave because it's what's best for her"
🙄
It would have been better without the romance
It was interesting to see another version of fae
The side characters were better than the main MMC and FMC

into the flush we go
In book two of Charity’s story, we follow her, Devon, and the crew into the Flush to see if she can find her people! Watching the Pack go through the Realm with a few additional members that keep things interesting is a hoot. Steve goes from a lazy surfer guy at the bar to one of the most powerful shifters in the group. And learning Cole’s animal? Wow. Charity and Devon continue on to fulfill things Seen, but maybe not in the way they each assume. This book definitely sets up for the big, overarching plot, particularly with the involvement of Charity’s BFF. Once again, we get more Reagan, Penny, and Emery!
