I was just knocked off my feet when I read this novel. It was engrossing, enveloping, and yes, hard to read at times. Just She never pulls any punches and neither do her characters. Loved it from start to finish.

I absolutely love Darling Cruel and have been waiting for his story. So far he is one of my favorite heroes from this series. I love that these men still have honor and decency after all that has happened to them. Maybe it is because I loved Darling so much that I never really connected to Zarya. I just didn't ever really like her that much. I understand that bad things had happened to her and she had led a hard life, but she seemed petty to me. Towards the end of the book she started to grow on me, but I never really felt that she was good enough for Darling. I did love being able to see Darling and Maris interact more in this book. Overall it was a great book and the League is by far my favorite of Kenyon's series.

One of the best books in the series. Can't wait to keep on reading and look forward to the ones that are yet to be released.

Superb and masterfully written! I can't say enough about how much I loved this book. This the is the best book in the series since the first one. It may even surpass that. Do not miss out reading this one. I love this type of series and nobody does it better than Sherrilyn Kenyon!

Just when you think Ms. Kenyon has written the most tortured male lead possible you pick up another of her books and realize she can go darker. I loved this book, although it was very intense at times and my heart ached for Darling and what he was forced to endure. About half way through I had had it with the female lead and wanted her to see her up comings for the way she was behaving. Like Darling it took me a while to forgive her for her behavior. In most of Kenyon's book the lead has already been damaged and survived the turmoil in his life. In this book, while most of Darling's life has been awful, we get to be there for the most severe torture that he must endure in his life, it will break your heart. Unlike others I was not bothered by the fact that Kenyon changed the character from Gay to straight, she worked it into his back story well and it just didn't bug me. Of course it may have to do with the fact that there had been some time between reading most of the other books in the series and this one. If I had been reading them all back to back maybe it would have bothered me more. Great book and I loved the ending.

Kenyon has the ability to take the reader places where they don't want to necessarily go... I found this story deeply disturbing and in a few places not only cruel but disgustingly! Fair warning this is not a story for the faint of heart but Kenyon somehow manages through all that, to keep the reader throughly invested in the characters and their story! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 1/2 of 5

I’m really loving this futuristic series. I have to say this one has to be my favorite of the series so far. Better then Star Wars.. in my opinion. And I loved the Star Wars.

I have been reading McQueen (yes the name on the cover is different but I want to use her legal name out of respect for her desire to use her born name) for over a decade now. I never get tired of sitting down and enjoying a story of hers. You always know no matter how dark things get, how tortured the hero, how dead everyone seems, in the end the couple will be together. It's a great comfort in these uncertain times.
