Omg je suis trop déçu. J’avais tellement des high expectation. L’auteur qui dit if you loved fast $ furious you’ll love this. Bro. C’est la version Wish de F&F oui.
First, t’avais tellement de personnage genre girl you can’t introduce 50 people dans les 50 premieres pages genre c’est juste impossible à suivre. J’ai littéralement give up de savoir c’était qui tous les perso sauf les 4-5 principaux tellement y’en avait beaucoup trop. Ça m’a vrm fait chier et à cause de ça j’ai pas dutout embarqué dans l’histoire j’avais juste hâte que ça finisse. Fkg décevant.
Aussi, il y a aucune introduction entre les protagonistes genre on sait pas vraiment comment ils se sont rencontrés, on sait juste qu’ils sont attirés l’un par l’autre. That’s all. Like is it a fkg sex story or what? Genre y’a zéro chimie ou proximité amoureuse c’est juste en mode Heum what is happening right now? Et les scènes de spice, WTF IS THAT. Trop cringe. Y’avait juste aucune cohérence entre les perso et ses scènes là.Genre de où le mec il te spank and he’s fkg dominant Mai’s la scène d’après t’es en mode good boy et la il est soumis. I was like. NOP. No thank u.

Too confusing, need to read other books first
I liked Mina and Dontell's story! There's still more to come, many parts unresolved, and I look forward to reading the next one.
We know the characters from the author's previous series, but here we learnt about Leon's conflict with his sister, and their pasts, and Dontell's history too.
Dontell was a sweet guy! Over-protective for sure, but he fell hard for Mina. She had trust issues, but ultimately realised she couldn't run forever.

I couldn’t get into this book because of MINA. She was a bitch to everyone and 20% into the book I couldn’t handle it anymore. I wanted to shake her! It was aggravating.

I loved it! I’ve never read anything like it. It’s all about an underworld car racing family who have run ins with the mafia (slide next picture for blurb).
Mina is such a strong female character. With everything she goes through to protect her daughter from the life she never wants to almost loosing her daughter to that life. It’s hard to not feel sad for her, riding the waves of her emotions as you go.
Dontell, don’t even get me started. Could he be anymore perfect. Besides the fact he is a criminal-I mean that’s half the reason he’s so attractive right? His obsession and protective nature over Mina and Cleo is just perfect.
The rollercoaster of emotions throughout the book had me laughing, scared, crying, overwhelmed and just simply swooning over Dontell.
There is spicy scenes aka the bookshelf scene and the car scene

I really liked the storyline, world building and character building in this book. There were several plot twists that I didn’t see coming. I have some suspicions about who the mystery person so I’m excited for the next book to see how this plays out and if my suspicions are right.
