People have been telling me about this series for YEARS! I'm so mad I waited so long to check it out, but I am so thankful I finally did!

Magic Bites is absolutely AMAZING!

The world building is insane, the characters are deep and complex, the storyline is captivating!

Highly recommend!!!

of the way of the powerful. Don't draw attention to yourself. Don't show off. Guard your blood, because it will betray you. If you bleed, wipe it clean and burn the rag. Burn the bandages. If someone manages to obtain some of your blood, kill him and destroy the sample.

You know what? Still fun. Yes, it's urban fantasy formulaic (and having read the authors others books it's them formulaic as well), but it was and continues to be the best UF series out there. The world is fantastic and the characters likeable and flawed. I might feel ancient now, being older than the main characters, but it was a great nostalgic trip. A really, really bloody, brutal and gruesome one, which somehow I did not remember to be like that at all... fun!

Took me a long time to get into this. Still feel like I only very vaguely get how the world works. But finally pulled in enough that I look forward to reading more. I’ve read other reviews that say it gets way better after the first so 🤞

WoW i LOVED this......

Kate Daniels comes across as rough and extremely independent, but i think Derek hits the nail on the head when he says she needs someone stronger than her..... Alpha male maybe a big Unfriendly cat shifter i fell a bit in love with.....

The flirtation between them has started i like to think, sending a saucer of milk over to Curran was brilliant!

Still a huge 5 star but it gets amazingly brilliant about halfway through you dare not part with the novel......

Its Gruesome, raw and full of mystery as Kate battles through vampires that never sparkle and Magic to powerful to control. Cant wait for book 2!
