I just finished reading another horror novel and though the idea was great, I couldn’t have cared less about the characters. This book was a great example of building engaging characters. I was intrigued by nearly every character in this book, and their motivations changed and shifted through the story the more information that’s revealed. I would definitely recommend.

I enjoyed this book more than I thought I would. It's not something I normally reach for but the twists really took me by surprise. The name ghostdaddy did make me giggle a bit though ngl but it was still suspenseful

I wouldn't necessarily call this horror (more sci-fi thriller) but I would call it great. Beautifully told southern gothic story with themes of religious trauma and family estrangement, so basically made in a lab just for me.

I liked some aspects of this book. I thought there would be more destruction from the God. “It” played a big part but at the same time didn’t. I absolutely loved Stella though.
