virginia woolf's way of presenting the story is so beautifully written!!!
i usually hate stream of consciousness writings but i feel like this was done in a way that fits each character. and the way that woolf smoothly transitions between each point of view is so seamless and doesn't take you out of the story at all.
i would've loved chapters though but i totally get why there weren't, it's just a lot to read at once

Capolavoro della letteratura inglese, Virginia Woolf si riconferma una scrittrice raffinata e intensa. Il flusso di coscienza non รจ sempre facilissimo e magari si rischia di perdersi, ma sicuramente alla fine ci si ritrova immersi nei pensieri e nelle emozioni dei personaggi.

The beginning stressed me out so much. I have never experienced writing like this and it took me until about halfway through to get into the flow of things. After that adjustment period, though, I have to say that I quite enjoyed the feeling of bouncing in and out of people's minds. I literally felt like a baton that was seamlessly being passed around unknowingly by these characters. And the parts we get to be in the mind of Septimus were just so compelling for me. Would have loved to see more of him.
