I really enjoyed this book. It's different from the previous ones, but no less beautiful.
Xander is a great character in this whole series and having to give him closure was bittersweet. I really enjoyed his story, his ups and downs, his struggles, his journey of accepting his problem and seeking help.
Derek is a great caregiver, I loved how he always kept in mind that he wanted to see the real Xander and not see him through his illness.

This was good! I found their relationship to be well done and carefully crafted. I like that the author treated those specific circumstances with the gravity that it really needed to be. Oof ngl jealous of Xander ;alskdjf;alksdjf we all need someone as caring and accepting and loving as Derek. The character growth for both of them was really well done.
This was emotional, I think it's the last of the Bertha crowd 😭😭😭. They've all been through so much and loving that they all had their happy ending.

I have been waiting for this book forever and it didn’t disappoint. Xander is such a complex character and I’m glad that people gave him tough love and made him fight for himself. There wasn’t “once you fall in love everything is better” mentality, Xander had to work on himself and actually try. No one could help him but himself and I was glad to see him better himself for himself. Derek was a sweetheart and you could see how much he struggled with what to do, I’m glad he stood his ground and made sure his dreams mattered too. The ending was perfect, Derek asking Seven to live on the same land with him and Xander was so beautiful. I’m so happy everyone got their happy ending.

Xander viszont olyan karakter, akihez már elkezdtem valamennyire kötődni, Molly-t és Sevent imádtam, úgyhogy rajtuk keresztül nem tudtam figyelmen kívül hagyni ezt a sokat szenvedett karaktert. nem kaptunk túl sok mellékkarakteridőt, de így is szerettem a közös pillanataikat hármasban. 3
