emotional

This one did a number on me. Xander is tough. He’s both so vulnerable (because hello anxiety) and so snarky you want to strangle him. He’s a total juxtaposition in a package you just want to snuggle. He needs those snuggles, but he needs someone to help him and champion him even more. Derek is that person who is always there when Xander needs a medical professional. When the breadth of all he’s been doing and how he feels comes out, the impact hits you in the feels. There isn’t a better man than Derek, and seeing him grow his own relationships in the house was *chef’s kiss* for me. These two just need a really rough road to sever the patient/caregiver relationship so they can rebuild on the ashes. I’m not going to lie. It’s tough at times, but this was everything that Xander needed. They are so in tune with the needs of each other. The ending was absolute perfection. I’m dying saying goodbye to the Bertha boys and so hopeful that we’ll see them again. But my heart knows that Aggie and her guys will be in good hands as long as they have each other.

it’s saxon james, so I had a good time. I think it wasn’t my favourite in the series. but it was still solid. Loved the growth we saw in Xavier.
