I love this book and these characters (Especially Gideon!!!) with all of my heart (which feels too full whenever i re-read this book). I mean, man, all of the characters; Claudia, Iris, Gideon, all of them are just too lovable. Too heart and soul warming. I love the humour in every single books of Emma’s but especially this one. I love the dynamics of the characters with each other. Also, do space princes like Gideon exist in real life? If they do then can one of them come find me right now? Could i somehow go relive the experience of reading this book once again? That would be the superpower i would want if I could have one.
Definitely a book that I’ll be coming back to again and again

3.5. cute and very funny. Emma Mills is getting to be right up there with Sarah Dessen for me. also now I really want to re-read Midsummer Night's Dream.

omg this is soooo cute tbh i still love this book like ok asian lesbian rep... i absolutely love the platonic relationships here and gideon is a SWEETHEART and this book is so funny like all the fandom shit and "he is my small son" and the groupchats were so fucking hilarious... claudio. the emotions. and omg <3 tbh the only thing i remembered from when i read this in junior high was iris being gay so maybe i shouldve clocked myself a while ago

The humour in this book was on point, A+. The decisions a few of the characters made kind of annoyed me, even though I understood their reasoning and their thought process was very clearly explained, it just felt they made things unnecessarily hard for themselves sometimes. All in all, solid novel.
