When I first started reading I wasn’t sure this was the book for me. But I kept reading and boy am I glad I did! Over the course of the book I fell in love with the three guys and Layla more and more. Does this book do anything new? Not really. But it was still a super enjoyable read!
Rating breakdown

Would I recommend it to others? Yes
Does it do anything to break the mould? No
Would I reread it? Maybe
Total: 3.5/5

Well, this was steamier and smuttier than I thought. And a good 150pp too long, or say 2-3 hours too long.
Layla is a successful business woman who has been on 120 first dates. She doesn't seem to be able to interest a man in her. Her friends/neighbours Luke, Zack & Josh, who do a relationship advice podcast, offer to take her out on fake dates to give her advice. There won't be any feelings involved, just dates and 🌶️
All have issues they need to work through. There's a huge third act break-up (when can we get over those?) with a very public and rather lukewarm reconciliation.
Some of the triple/quadruple 🌶️ scenes read very porny. I honestly asked myself whether I was getting old and prude?
Also, I am over the dead lover/partner excuse.

I couldn’t put it down, it literally had me giggling and screaming
Zach is super funny
I agree with other reviews that it could’ve had more groveling, and I think the cheating social media thing could’ve been better written. It would be more believable and make more sense if we had some people not shaming Layla since everyone basically knew that all of them were “dating” and that they implied they were all getting it on. but other than that it was great

3.5⭐️ this was just ok. Really the only thing going on in this book is her dating more than one guy. I wanted a fluffy Flock or something and I got meh.
I’ve never read a “why choose” unless you count den of vipers and that was - well a lot of triggers lol and no real plot. But this was sweet, funny, great banter, and absolutely adorable. Don’t worry it has some intense MMFM steamy spice too. But I love that that doesn’t make the whole characters. Super cute would recommend.
3 stars - I liked it
Each characters personal issues was very interesting and the best part of the book. I liked having the podcast transcripts. It added a lot of interest and was different. But overall it just felt a bit too long and at times unrealistic.

It seems like this genre more than others, have (IMO) over the top HEA in several areas to tie up every little thing. Which I find that pretty cringey, when it’s over the top and I felt this HEA was. However, I couldn’t put this down once I started it and appreciated there was more of a plot to this compared to other smutty books. Or just a plot in general.
