I’ve never read a “why choose” unless you count den of vipers and that was - well a lot of triggers lol and no real plot. But this was sweet, funny, great banter, and absolutely adorable. Don’t worry it has some intense MMFM steamy spice too. But I love that that doesn’t make the whole characters. Super cute would recommend.

3 stars - I liked it

Each characters personal issues was very interesting and the best part of the book. I liked having the podcast transcripts. It added a lot of interest and was different. But overall it just felt a bit too long and at times unrealistic.

It seems like this genre more than others, have (IMO) over the top HEA in several areas to tie up every little thing. Which I find that pretty cringey, when it’s over the top and I felt this HEA was. However, I couldn’t put this down once I started it and appreciated there was more of a plot to this compared to other smutty books. Or just a plot in general.
fast-paced

Ahh so many thoughts and feelings!!!! I love Layla!!! She is such a bad ass boss woman!!!!! I loved all the guys and their “fake” relationship. I obviously knew something was going to happen to mess everything up, but I was kind of pissed that Layla took them back and trusted them so easily again. I think they needed to work for it more. However, my end of the book I was so happy with them that I started to forget how mad I was. The bonus epilogue was sooo cute too!!!! Lavender is a bad ass little 6 year old!!!

so so soo good

I love love love this book. It was everything you could every want from a fake dating book but with three hot dumb guys instead of one.

lighthearted

On a re-read this book didn’t really hold up. The apology was awful - felt like it was more about the boys than her and I must have misunderstood because
I thought they were publicly all dating on the podcast??!?? So how was she supposedly ‘cheating’ on them!?!??!??

This series follows Layla, a workaholic lingerie designer who is bad at dating and lives across the hall from 3 hot dudes who she is friends with who also have a podcast about dating and advice. After Layla has a particularly bad first date she goes over to their apartment, gets drunk, and they all decide to date her to teach her how to date better by dating her and using it as a segment on their podcast. Antics ensue. This was a really fun read, all of the characters are well developed and the dynamics between them interesting. The sex was also very good and well incorporated into the book. I didn’t love the eventual conflict but ultimately it plays out well and the end is very satisfying, not exciting but definitely fun.
