A collection of memories that was written here in this book, as if they were written to offer us a consolation out of what you have lived and felt till this moment, or what you will feel in the near future...
Every soul meant to live memories for the good or the bad thing but the memory the meaning is the way we look back at them, and here Lang Leav wrote it nicely the way it should be written.
everyone can find a piece of memory in this book that he can relate to and that's what I find truthfully sentimental :*)

This book made me feel tired.
As always; my reviews are mostly reminders for myself on how I processed a book. Something I'll deeply hate one moment, I'll deeply love in a different mental state.
I've gotten into poetry for two reasons mainly.
One they're good fillers, i-e easy to finish.
Two, I plan on doing shadow work through poetry. I find it easier to revisit ugly moments when I'm a little detached, and writing in verse and prose helps.
This book was not bad; it just felt dreadfully dreadful. That's a terrible way to phrase it because it did have good snippets, and it did touch me at points, but it still made me feel tired regardless. And that for one, is not a feeling I look for in reading.

At times it was repetitive and the ones on love seems to have the same idea every time.
My favourite poem from this book is:
Name- SOULS
When two sounds fall in love, there is nothing else but the yearning to be close to the other. The presence that is felt through a hand held, a voice heard, or a smile seen.
Souls do not have calendars or clocks, nor do they understand the notion of time or distance. They only know it feels right to be with one another.
This is the reason why you miss someone so much when they are not there—even if they are only in the very next room. Your soul only feels their absence—it doesn’t realise the separation is only temporary.
…………………
Can I ask you something?
Anything.
Why is it every time we say good night, it feels like goodbye?
FIN.
I would also like to add, I usually thrift or get my books second hand. One, it is cheaper, two, something is so intimate about it - someone has owned this book before me, I see annotations of theirs and the tips of pages being folded as a mark to show they particularly enjoyed this page. I’d highly suggest buying books this way, it just makes it all the more enjoyable.

I think we could all agree that Lang Leav is one of the most amazing poets/authors of today's generation. The words she uses to deliver her poems are universal and it can move you. It was proven in her first two books, Love & Misadventure and Lullabies.
But there's one problem with this one. This book is a collection of her best poems on her first two books. It included a few new poems, but it didn't appeal to me that much. As I was getting through the deeper pages, it started to feel extremely repetitive. It's basically like buying the first two books all over again.
I wouldn't recommend this book if you already have her first two books, unless of course it's your first time getting into Lang Leav's poems. For those who already owned Love & Misadventure and Lullabies, it's up to you if you still want to read this. Otherwise, you're not really missing out on much.

Some of the poems were actually very good but most of them didn't even feel like poetry and, personally, I don't find love poems appealing- especially when most of them were basically on about the same subject.

The words of Lang Leav’s poetry in this book play on the strings of my heart. There are many words and feelings I’ve been looking for and i couldn’t find them, I’ve been searching for the right phrases and couldn’t find them. But I did here. All the right expressions for a broken heart.
