I enjoyed this book but nothing memorable about it. But it was a good book.
This story was about best friends that turned into way more after some serious questioning of their sexuality and a LOT of experimenting, and I loved it.
Keene had doubts after a dare to kiss his best friend Aspen turned him on more than it should have when they were in high school. Years later, he tells Aspen he thinks he may be into guys and being the caring friend he is, Aspen volunteers to let him experiment with him because he doesn't want him to get taken advantage of or hurt by guys in an app. You could tell right from the beginning that the friendship between these two had always been more but neither knew it. They were so sweet together and I'm glad they got their HEA, despite how their news got out, which gave me major secondary anxiety for them.

Loved every bit of this but at no shock to me because I love everything this girl writes (based off what I’ve read). For the longest time, I haven’t been a fan of the friends-to-lovers trope but when it’s done right I LOVE IT. So in lamest terms, I loved everything about Aspen and Keene’s relationship. When reading their journey, it seems like falling in love with the person you trust more than anyone or anything feels like it’s the easiest thing to do
I liked this one a lot more than the river duology.
A bit heavy on the angst and emotional dialogue considering the MCs are 20 but still enjoyable :)
