This is my first book by this author and while it started off really strong for me… that dwindled as the book went on…. And ON.
While I didn’t hate the book by any means, it definitely could have easily been at least 50 pages shorter. The middle dragged on and got repetitive. Also, the author chooses to use such cliche phrasing throughout which really started to become a turn off. Aspen’s angst really got to be a bit much and really found things to get icky and manipulative towards the end.
Also, is it just me or “Don’t you dare” being posed as a question verses a statement had me scratching my head repeatedly. It’s a small thing but it was driving me nuts every time they said this!
While I have my gripes with this one, I am curious to find out Avery’s story so I will be reading that next.

friends to lovers with a side of mutual sexual awakening. relatively low drama, more about the transition from being besties to FWB to true partners. it was painfully obvious to everyone, including almost every side character, that these two had been in love for a very long time even though they didn’t quite understand how deep those feelings went.

TW: they were outed without their prior knowledge or consent in a VERY public way

- Hot already on page 2
- Fantastic I love it. This is 95% erotica and 5% plot. I love that they’re exploring each other and Aspen hasn’t made it explicitly clear he’s questioning his sexuality too

Woof not only is this is hottest book I’ve ever read but it was so beautifully written and I loved how well the characters personalities were captured
