Don't You Dare

4.01 AVERAGE

emotional

“I dare you to let me love you the way you deserve to be loved. Wholly. Completely. And out in the open, where the world can see.”

And I dare C.E. Ricci to pay for my fucking therapy after the emotional distress she just put me in. I literally questioned if I needed to book a therapy appointment at 11:00 pm. Keene and Aspen, you have my whole heart. I don’t even want to move onto another book just yet because I’m mourning the loss of them. This was such a spicy book, but with the emotional depth that made me want to stab myself in the heart. I will DEFINITELY be checking out some of her other work!!

Side note: I absolutely love the fact that when you go on the author’s instagram, you can find q&as with the characters as well as their “profiles”. She makes you feel so much more connected with them and I just thought that was perfect.

Keene and Aspen are lifelong best friends, now roommates in college. One knows he is gay and one has no clue. Keene has had feelings for Aspen but would never act on it. When Aspen realizes it, he seems okay with it, but has worries about ruining Keene.

This is a friends to lovers, college age, spicy MM romance. It’s emotional and full of feels.
