I really should learn to read trigger warnings before I start books. But then again I’m glad I didn’t because I might not have read this otherwise. But it was pretty good. The best part was the ending where I was really excited, then really pissed off, then excited again.

It was tragic and heartbreaking but so good.
A little slow to start, but once it picked up I didn’t want to put it down. I feel like as a reader, you’re able to pick up all the little Easter eggs and piece together the puzzle before it became obvious for the characters but I was OK with that. A villain who isn’t really a villain, and with a history of tragedy to boot..

Some grammar and things that were irritating but overall I like the story and the premise. Definitely heavier on the smut over plot but with that ending I have to continue to the next one.
this was such a pleasure to read. i wish there was more concentration on Daliah’s witchy side but overall i really enjoyed. elements i did not expect and i am so excited to read the sequel!
