Some grammar and things that were irritating but overall I like the story and the premise. Definitely heavier on the smut over plot but with that ending I have to continue to the next one.
this was such a pleasure to read. i wish there was more concentration on Daliah’s witchy side but overall i really enjoyed. elements i did not expect and i am so excited to read the sequel!

✨ Star-crossed lovers 💔
✨ Count Dracula’s wife is reincarnated as a witch sent to 💀 him
✨ She dies in every lifetime, and he’s too scared to fall for her again
✨ Very spicy!
I actually liked it, but…
Could we maybe tone down the spicy scenes just a bit? Just a little! So there’s more room for actual plot development 🥲
The FMC is said to be this badass vampire slayer sent to take down Count Dracula himself, but we don’t get to see any of that history or her in action 😅
And yep, turns out the main plot barely progresses all the way to the end 😂 I swear the villains were probably off screen like, “yo, are we not getting any screentime?”
Honestly, the author's other book, A Ship of Bones and Teeth, had a much better balance between spice and story. It didn’t feel excessive at all.
Can we please go back to that style? 🥲
But now that I think about it 🤔
Maybe it is kind of the author’s signature..strong vibes, but weaker plot development. Even A Ship of Bones had a storyline that felt a bit vague.
