Breaker, honestly 10/10. Loved him.
Lia, not so much. She was needy and insecure all the time, and sleeping in another guys bed and cuddling while being engaged. It, and she, didn’t sit well with me.

Slow-burn friends-to-lovers romance with no third-act breakup or conflict. I love Breaker and Ophelia (Lia), but, Lord Almighty, it took forever for them to realize their feelings towards each other.
I won't lie, I did not care for the images within the story because, in my mind, Breaker looked completely different, so they threw me out of the story every time one came up. The scenes between Lia and her potential mother-in-law made me cringe a little from second-hand embarrassment but also had me laughing out loud.
I always seem to find myself reading the last or middle story of a standalone series, so I honestly cannot wait to go back and read the other stories involving the other Cane brothers.

It was cute but tbh I’m tired of these cutesy books where everyone’s just so damn happy I can’t take it. This one was just boring and predictable
Mostly good story, he falls first and harder and supports her even though she is eloped. Good end, but not fully; his date in between was really nice and supportive and she doesn’t come up again, even though he said he will introduce her to one of his friends over all it could be deeper

Breaker and Ophelia’s friends-to-lovers story ruined me in the best way. The tension, the pining, the banter?? Perfection. And don’t even get me started on chapter 13 — I was blushing so hard I had to put the book down 😳🔥
This one’s hilarious, heartfelt, and deliciously slow burn. Meghan Quinn nailed every emotional beat while still giving us all the steam and swoon. I was obsessed from start to finish!
🖤 Tropes: best friends to lovers, slow burn, wedding chaos, found family, billionaire
🔥 Spice: off the charts
