This is it. This is my favourite book of the series.
Tik Tok girlies kept saying that this is the best out of the three, but I didn’t believe them. Mostly because I’m more into reading books about a grumpy MMC like Huxley instead of a golden retriever MMC like Breaker. But, oh, I was such a fool. Breaker fooled me. Yes, he is a golden retriever, but, oh, how I love him. He is so sweet and caring and he… has such a dirty mouth, my God. But that’s always a bonus.

I stuck with this because I love a friends to lovers story, but geez, the first 200 pages needed to go. how many times do I need to be subjected to awful interactions with the future mother in law? I got the point. once Lia ditches Brian things finally started to get moving. overall, had its moments, some were awkward, some were great.
Breaker Cane has my whole heart!
Okay, so Breaker Cane is officially my favorite Cane brother! This book was such a fun ride and easily ranks #2 out of the three brothers’ stories for me.
What I loved most was the overall vibe, it was light, feel-good, and full of heart without relying on unnecessary drama or a third-act breakup. Sometimes you just want a romance that makes you smile from start to finish, and this one absolutely delivered.
Breaker’s charm, the chemistry, and the warmth in this story really stood out. It had all the swoony moments and playful banter I was hoping for, wrapped up in a love story that felt both sweet and satisfying.
A great addition to the series and honestly, Breaker just might have ruined me for the other two.
