A Long Time Coming

funny hopeful lighthearted medium-paced

I am normally such a sucker for a good enemies to lovers trope but this book definitely roped me into liking friends to lovers.

The right amount of cheesy with a good helping of spice BUT there’s slow burn and then there’s snail’s pace. Didn’t get into the spicy bits until 75% into the book, and then, everything just sped up and felt too rushed. There was some character development but the reader barely get a glimpse of that, but character development none the less. Overall, it was cute, light and a great fast read! Like I said, this book definitely made me want to give a chance to reading more friends to lovers!

“You remember what’s on my list?”
“Lia, I remember everything about you,”

shut up this was adorable.
lia and breaker are so cute, he was so understanding and *always* showed her the way she deserves to be loved.

“It’s because Breaker always thinks of you first,” Kelsey says softly. “He truly cherishes you. I’m sure he doesn’t say all the things to you that he says to us, but you are his number one. There’s no question about it.”
