Sixth and last in the Georgina Kincaid urban fantasy romance series revolving around a succubus who has fallen in love in Seattle, Washington.
The Story
Georgina has quit the bookstore due to all the discomfort after Seth broke off with Maddie to go back to Georgina. Well, to be fair, Maddie never did know that Georgina and Seth had been an item. Georgina is now working as a Santa's helper while she looks for a new job and helps take care of Andrea and Terry's kids while Andrea is undergoing her chemo treatments.
Seth and Georgina have had a rough time of it and it appears that Hell intends for it to be rougher yet as they interfere with Seth's family and insist on transferring Georgina to Las Vegas. The timing of this transfer is so odd that all sorts of red flags erupt causing Roman to investigate.
One of the red flags is when Georgina gets to Vegas for her introductory trip because it's all so wonderful. A fabulous start with first-class pick-up at the airport, a suite, an old friend who just happens to be transferred at the same time, amazing new friends as well as the job of a lifetime...uh-uh, something's wrong.
And it all started when Georgina mentioned that Seth had mumbled her original name, Letha. Another red flag that triggers a past-life regression trip for Seth. Results that cause Roman to sacrifice anything to ensure the truth will out.
The Characters
The main character is Georgina Kincaid, a succubus who has lost heart in acquiring the souls demanded by Hell because she has fallen in love with Seth Mortenson, the writer of her favorite detective series.
I love what Mead does with her characters. A fondue dinner party followed by a game of Pictionary with a drawing for Secret Santas with guests who include an angel, an archdemon, two vampires, an imp with his own FaceBook page making friend requests, and a succubus.
Oh, man, we get to meet Seth's mom and anti-corporate-obsessed, cheap, younger brother Ian. Mom is appalled that Georgina is sleeping with Seth while Ian is constantly going off on the awfulness of corporate thought and white sugar products—pity the poor schoolkids who get the brown-rice-flour-and-garbanzo-bean-flour cupcakes! And all to celebrate "the mainstream domination of the Judeo-Christian machine".
I do love Carter! He is so not what one would expect of an angel!! Not only does he spend time hanging out with Hell's denizens but he's so much of a regular, that he is notorious for how he treats wine:

The main theme throughout the series has always been about Georgina being in love with Seth and the difficulty of having a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship when the succubus half has to entice people into sex so she can drain their life forces. And having to avoid sex with the love of her life so she doesn't drain his life force. It's certainly given Mead the opportunity to explore all sorts of relationship issues as well as examining the whole Good versus Evil issue.
I so enjoy how Mead incorporates the everyday of human life with "evil" creatures employed by Hell from the dinners they enjoy, movie nights, out clubbing, celebrating holidays, and, oh yeah, in this one, to training together as a bowling team to build Hellish morale for Jerome's Seattle minions to beat Nanette's Portland flunkies.
In this installment, Mead creates a sense of urgency with Andrea's relapses and Georgina's insistence that the family takes priority over her and Seth's relationship especially when combined with Georgina's sudden transfer to Las Vegas. It's young Kayla who red flags the interference with the final nail in the coffin placed with Carter's help and nailed in with Roman and Hugh's assistance.
A very well-thought-out series and I hate that this is the end of it. It makes sense, but, I will miss the gang!

A fantastic end to a wonderful series, very satisfying. What a roller coaster ride this series has been for the characters and it does not stop during this book. Georgina Kincaid is being transferred to Vegas. She will have to leave Seth, his family, all her friends. Roman smells something fishy with the sudden upheaval and searches for answers. Meanwhile life in Seattle is getting weirder, Geogina is and Elf, the demons have a bowling league, Seth's sister has unusual downs with her cancer, and Erik's death is coming into question.
Carter, the angel plays an important role finally revealing some hidden truths.
Everyones story is resolved. I will miss the characters.

You know what, I really enjoyed this book. I liked the way it ended. I sort of suspected how it was going to end, but that still didn't keep me from enjoying it. I liked that all of the little trails were brought together in the end and that there was some happy in the end. Although I'm honestly still wondering what happened Dante. That poor dude, I need some answers there. Other than that, I'm pleased. Good job Richelle, you keep me entertained.
I can't believe it's really over. It ended almost perfectly. I was angry, I was sad, I was nervous and I was happy. I even had a tear or two fall down my face. Not because of how great it ended, although it still made me feel all fuzzy inside. The rest of this review honestly can't be discussed without spoilers. It's just to hard.
I think I really loved the fact that Seth was able to regain his soul back with all of his former lives and memories intact. I think that if he didn't have those it wouldn't feel as important and real that they had really been through everything. I also lost all my respect for Jerome. Yeah, he was always an ass but he humored me alot and I guess I also let that get in the way of knowing he was a demon of course and should have never been trusted.
So the best happily ever after conclusion happened and I was happy about it. It was a long road and I think this was the best possible outcome :) the love between these two was beautiful and it only makes sense for them to get their souls back.
This was a great series, and it will for sure be one I will re-read in the future. :)

Why? Why on earth can't everyone on this planet have a Roman in their life?? Seriously, he was the only reason I shed a tear. Not because of Seth and Georgina getting their souls back and living "happily ever after" but because of the most amazing person ever making that possible. Roman by far made this book worthy of 4 stars. I may be holding off of that one last star just for him. Can we bring him back? Please? A spin-off or something!? Amazing, seriously he is amazing.I think I really loved the fact that Seth was able to regain his soul back with all of his former lives and memories intact. I don't care if the general plot was pretty obvious after the first five books, Succubus Revealed was still an amazing end to a great series. I cried so hard. Many of the loose ends created already were tied up, (it was nice to see Yasmine again) but I wish we would have known what happened to the character who made the biggest sacrifice in this book. Richelle Mead continues to prove to me why she is my favorite author. I'm just sad that my favorite one of her series is now over.
