Lovely to finish off this series. The ending was satisfying.
This book made me cry!!! I really respect it for wrapping everything up in such a lovely and thoughtful manner. It might seem like it's not about anything too serious, but it truly was one of the best and unexpectedly wholesome love stories I have ever read. First of my Urban Fantasy Greats to finish in less than ten books!
Ett av de mer känslomässiga slut jag har läst, ganska bitterljuvt faktiskt.

A strong conclusion that reveals that all was meant to be. (And I continue to rather like Carter; he's a strong character - as are the rest of the supporting cast.) Glad I read this series.
Wonderful ending to this series! I laughed and gasped and cried a little. This series is now one of my favorites!
Georgina and Seth find themselves at the center one of Roman’s conspiracy theories, but Georgina realizes he may not be that far off target. The book begins with Georgina working as a Santa’s helper at the mall and wearing a green foil dress. Seth’s sister in-law is still battling cancer, but seemingly getting better and Seth is spending his time helping out his family instead of writing. Even Georgina is helping out with the girls. All of a sudden however the rug is swept out from under them when Georgina is given notice of a transfer to Las Vegas. When she goes to scope things out everything just seems too good to be true. Her best friend Bastien is there, a succubus that seems to be genuinely friendly and Georgina’s dream job, to be a Vegas dancer is offered to her. When she gets back Andrea has suddenly taken a turn for the worse. What could all these events have to do with each other? How is Georgina involved in this? That's just what Roman wants to find out. With the help of Hugh, Carter and Roman the questions are finally all answered, even Erik’s death. I loved this book. There couldn’t have been a more perfect ending to the series.
Wow, what a great finale to the series! It's really a 4 1/2 star read (as other reviewers have said, Georgina is exceptionally clueless for much of the beginning of the book, especially for a jaded and experienced succubus) but the ending was so awesome I am totally willing to round up the final star. Richelle Mead really had a plan when she sat down for this series, and it all comes together beautifully in the end. (George Lucas should be taking notes. Really, to the people who were alive in the seventies and eighties for the "real" Star Wars movies, episodes 1-3 are nonstop, painful embarrassment that may never be gotten over. But I digress.) Knowing it was the last one, I put off reading it a bit--school was starting, I was afraid to see how it all was going to end, Seth's slip of the tongue at the end of the last novel kind of creeped me out--but I am so glad I took the time this week to get it done. It was all definitely worth the wait. I was listening on audio, and kept finding excuses for things I could do so I could keep listening. Dishes, laundry, moving furniture; you name it, I used it as a reason to plug in. Now that my favorite Seattle residents have their ending (and it's definitely a bittersweet one; not all sunshine and roses), I'm looking forward to picking up Bloodlines, and will add to my "to-read" list anything else that Richelle decides to write.
what a bitter sweet book. I ended up staying up till four last night reading, falling a sleep and getting up and finishing it this morning
