Ah, here it is. This book was a bit dry for me at parts, like Georgina's trip to Vegas (because seriously, it was painful to not have her realize what was going on when it was so obvious) , yet it never failed to keep my eyes glued to every page.
This book wrapped up many things nicely. Roman's feeling for Georgina, the Seth/Georgina arc, Carter, etc. I found upon finishing the book that despite these areas of closure, there were still many unanswered questions I had. But you know what? Not very story needs to be clean and picture perfect. Richelle has this perfect way of creating satisfying endings, but still leaving readers yearning for more. I felt it after finishing Vampire Academy (thank goodness for Bloodlines), and I felt it here. I wish there was a novella following the conclusion of this book that shows life 10 or 20 years down the road.
Amid my thinking about this ending, I couldn't help but wonder if Hell would ever try to go after Georgina and Seth's childs' soul. Would they raise their daughter to know about the darker side of the world? Would she know what her mother once was? Her father? Their complicated history?
I suppose those questions, among the many others bouncing around my head, will never truly be answered. But that's life. Unknowing. Impossible. And never perfect. Georgina and Seth, however, got as damn close to perfect as anyone could have.
If you're questioning whether or not to read this series, please do yourself a favor and give it a shot. It's witty, smart, and mesmerizing. You won't want to miss out on the chance to meet these characters.

I've just finished it, and my priorities changed. I think that every great book changes you a bit. You learn from it, you drink from it, and you live your life among it. And this one did that.
I'm proud to say that I knew the catch in the series from the first book, but when I got to the point of actually finding out what happened it was better than I expected.
I can't believe that someone can produce and make something like this. I enjoyed it so much...the cleverness, the wittiness, action, love, knowledge of love and life it's dumbfounding. This book made to my top five, I must say. A bit of a predictable ending for me, but worth it nevertheless. One character I especially enjoyed through the series is Carter, he's my ultimate hero. I just, I'd love to say something more, but I'd be repeating myself. I'm amazed.

3.5 stars Fun ending, if predictable. Totally guessed the twist 2 books ago.

This is that kind of book that pulls at your heart strings. The kind of characters you root for to win at the end against the bad guys. Its the kind of book that makes the reader happy. Though the end is predictable (I know it is) it was still fulfilling, and seriously necessary. If the author had pulled a stunt of major horrible proportions I think mobs of angry as hell fans would have... Well, use your imagination, I would have been among those fans.
Everything builds up to this big climatic ending. Every question you could have possibly had is answered. Georgina and Seth mystery? Check. Contract mystery? Check. Erik dying mystery? Check. I felt completely satisfied after reading this book... Though I would most surely appreciate a spin-off series with some of the extra characters of the seriesspecially Roman, please there has to be a spin off with ROMAN!!
It was just so good! How everything was resolved, how the book went down... I can't lie I truly loved it and I believe that it was a very fitting (though predictable) ending. I think the whole thing about being predictable it's just that that's how I wished the series to end, so that's why it was so wonderful. I don't even care that it was predictable.
This book seriously played with my emotions, and no matter how you think things are going to end up there is always that option that things may not end up how you want them to. It is the author's choice, and by the end of the book your happiness, and the happiness of your beloved characters, are ultimately in the author's hands.
I am just sad that it's over... I think I want to re read it again already. I was so into this world that it is just sad when a good series comes to an end. I will miss the characters, specially Georgina and her awesomeness.
What is truly wonderful about Richelle Mead's books is that no matter how crappy things get, no matter if it looks like no light can come out of the darkness, she always knows that her audience, at the end of the day, are just searching for a happily ever after. I needed a happily ever after.

Yes. Good. This ended in the way I had hoped for. The slow build to what happened was so excellent across all the books. All the neat little threads coming back together. And seeing Yasmine again!
Final thought? Carter is perfection. And not in a romantic character way. But in the big brother/angel always there for you way. The perfect embodiment of goodness and faith.

Maybe 2.5 stars, but overall it was disappointing, irritatingly predictable, and kind of unnecessary.
What a roller-coaster ride! The ending caught me by surprise but felt entirely appropriate. Good stuff.
This wasn't the first time I'd worn a foil dress.
Georgina has resigned from the bookstore after the revelations in the last book. She is working at the mall as an elf for Santa. She and Seth are now officially a couple. Seth's mother and brother arrive unexpectedly and meet Georgina in less than ideal circumstances. Georgina receives notice that she is being reassigned to Las Vegas and must leave Seattle in 30 days.
This is the final book in the series and there are a lot of loose ends to tie up. Georgina's sudden transfer comes as a shock. She knows that Seth will not be able to go with her as his sister in law, Andrea is not doing well. Georgina's trip to Vegas reveals her buddy Bastien is there and eager to work with her. The archdemon, Luis is a dream to work for unlike Jerome. Things just seem to be too perfect.
We learn more about Seth's family in this book. Little Kayla is seeing Darkness around her mom and Andrea is fading quickly. Georgina calls in Carter to cheer the girls by playing Santa and to check on Andrea's possible demon problem.
We finally learn more about Georgina when she was Letha in ancient Cyprus. She continues to believe that her contact with the Hell can be challenged. This was a great part of the story.
Georgina's friends are all present and do everything possible to help her find a resolution to her woes. Even Roman steps up in a big way.
There was less angst in this book than the last two. They both broke my heart. At least I had hop in this one. I was very pleased with how everything was wrapped up. Perhaps little Kayla will get a story sometime in the future.
This is a great series that I highly recommend.
