Succubus Revealed

Richelle Mead

4.12 AVERAGE

This was such a perfect ending. I am a huge Richelle Mead fan but this series was not my favorite romance wise (although I found it the funniest.) I hate cheating and for me that just sinks the characters, especially when they face no consequences. I still didn't like that aspect in this series but the results of Georgina and Seth's dishonesty continue to effect them which makes them more real and sympathetic. I did not go into this book expecting to be satisfied wit the end but I was so wrong! I loved that Seth was every man Georgina had ever loved. It tied the series together and created a beautiful history and romance. They were not perfect but together they can find happiness.
In addition I love the wacky bizarre humor of a story about a succubus there is just so much about this series that had me laughing.

At last Georgina gets her happy ending.. I knew something like that would happen since the Oneroi said the dream was true.... I really liked the book but im kinda sad its the last one.. I wanted some more of georgina and seth and carter and roman and... Everyone
Carter was really perfect in this one, like when he dressed like sanda and went to see the girls and healing andrea and in every other little way he helped Georgina... And i was really sad about Roman, he was so nice helping and going to hell to play lawyer...
Jerome was such an ass and the other demons as well except from Jasmine (she's quite the anarchist lol)
But i have to say richelle mead did it again, a perfect finalle for a really nice series... She does torture her characters a lot but in the end the get more than they ever hoped for... Its what i love about her seriies and i cant wait for her to write more ^_^

Not a bad ending to the series but it did feel a little like the author was just trying to wrap up the ends and lacked any more enthusiasm for the characters.

This was a great ending to a good series.
I really enjoy how Richelle Mead writes. It's simple and easy to read with just the right amount of humor. When I start reading a book of hers it takes me not time to finish her book.

One of the most outstanding thoughts after finishing the series is how much I've liked Roman - even though he was supposed to be a villain in the first book. I just had a feeling about him.

Georgina has changed so much during the series. In the beginning I wasn't so fond of her, but she's proved time and again why she's a great heroine.

The love story between Georgina and Seth is just perfect.

This book was quite disappointing! I had already guessed a fair amount of things from the book before, and I was right.

Also, I felt that Georgina was very whiny in this book. She was very far from her take-charge and never give up personallity. It took me three days to finish it, just because I didn't really feel like going on.

Even the end, that was just as I expected, and that made sense, didn't make me like the whole any better. Too predictible, and not as fun as usual, not the same humour and love that I thought the readers would get.

Being that this is the final in the series, everything up to this point is exposed right here. All the obstacles and Hellish attacks Georgina has suffered through in the past several books will make sense here and now. Mead gives us a mighty twist *gasp* to bring us to this point. The wounds she has opened will lay exposed and raw, but will heal.

Heaven’s goals will be revealed. You will smile. Hell will act like Hell, BUT many under Hell’s dominion will surprise you. Your faith in everything good and pure will be restored. It will make your heart smile.

"Love and Life...they're wonderful, but they're hard."

Vague much? Yep. After experiencing the full force of this series, I crown it a MUST READ series. It doesn’t disappoint. Richelle Mead is a master world-weaver and character builder.

Georgina Kincaid has made me a believer in fated-true love.

It's really hard for me to rate this book. On the one hand, I enjoyed it as a conclusion to the series, and I did like it more than the last one. On the other, well, it had its issues. For one, Georgina was pretty clueless. I mean, I saw the events in this book coming like 2-3 books ago. Why is she so slow on the uptake? Basically in this book, everything had to be figured out for her with the help of Roman, Hugh, and Carter. Seth was barely there and given how pissed I was at him at the end of the last book, I was disappointed that his character really had such a minimal role. This book was basically Roman, Hugh, Georgina, and Carter with guest appearances by everyone else. And what exactly was the point of the whole bowling thing, aside from filling up pages?

The ending was what I expected, and I was glad to see Georgina get her HEA, but I do think this series could have been wrapped up in the last book. I still love Carter and would love to see him get a series, but I'd also hate to see him Fall. Catch-22. Some of the books in this series were stronger than the others, but if I had to rate it as a whole, I'd probably give it a 3.5-4 stars. Same goes for this book, I suppose, so I'll settle on a four. It was fun revisiting the characters one last time, and the writing was good.

While I'm sad that this is the end of Georgina & co., I'm also glad that she and Seth got their HEA. I can't say the ending was a surprise because RM did plant clues in the previous books about a daughter with Seth. The predictability of the ending, the lack of suspense, and the fact that Roman's fate is unknown (along with a few other loose ends I would've liked addressed/tied up) are what prevented me from giving it 4 stars. It almost felt like RM was prepping the setup to a spinoff series with Carter & Roman. If so, great! If not then i hope she'll release a novella about what happened to Roman, Yasmine, Andrea, the Mortensons and their new baby, Carter &his new charge, and hell I'll even read an update about Maddie.

The finale to the Georgina Kincaid series is a quick and pleasant read, as were the previous books. It is also a wonderful, fulfilling ending to the story. I'm glad I took the time to read the series from start to finish. If you're looking for quality paranormal-romance fiction with a bit of erotica and a lot of charm, look no further - Richelle Mead's Succubus books are definitely for you.
