This was okay, but mostly made me come to the realization that I just don't enjoy this type of book (Bossypants, Yes, Please) and just won't bother with them in the future.

I have trouble with memoirs (or whatever this is classified as). My mind just tends to wander. But not with Mindy’s book. Mindy was fantastic. I could not stop laughing. Outloud. In public. She made me want to go out and watch all episodes of The Office. As unpopular an opinion as this is – I saw the pilot last year and hated it, but she makes me want to give it another try.

Mindy wrote this book as if she were speaking to her good friend. And between her including storylines from Twilight and Harry Potter and Titanic, I’m pretty sure if we met we would be best friends. How can I make this happen? Suffice to say, I now have a new girl crush.

lighthearted. often pretty hilarious. there's something that's always annoyed me about mindy, even though i find her adorable at the same time. maybe it's her declarative style of speaking?

another reviewer noted that the last bit of the book felt rushed, and i totally agree. i force-skimmed it, because it was pretty boring at the end.

I would recommend this to any young woman look for a quick read and some real laughs. It's a nice light read in between more serious undertakings.

Hilarious! Listened to the audiobook that Mindy read and I was cracking up!

Clever, fun, lighthearted but getting some good jabbing points in as well, this book literally make me chuckle aloud on several occasions. Good job, Mindy Kaling. I appreciate what she puts out and I'm glad she is still doing it.
