Meh. I laughed a few times but for the most part found chunks of it annoying.
Love her and the book. It suffers by comparison to Bossypants but it's still great for a good laugh.
So smart and delightful. Of course I loved the casual style of all the pop references but more than that I loved all the Boston area references! Mindy truly feels like your friend writing with such a fresh, kind and intelligent voice.
Amusing, but wasn't laugh out loud to me. I have similar feelings towards her show. I grew tired of her self deprecation, though do empathize with how people treat her as she's not a size zero, so she probably has to be self deprecating or it would really suck to work in the industry. Also didn't really agree with some of her rants. Meh.

Listened to audiobook - I was looking for something light and quick & have enjoyed some of Mindy's more recent work like Never have I ever so was expecting to like this more than I did. Agree with another review I saw that it was fine but hasn't aged particularly well unfortunately (in 10yrs)
I truly think I could listen to Mindy Kaling talk all day. This is, of course, coming from someone who literally listened to Mindy tell funny stories through their headphones for the entire day.
I read Mindy’s “Why Not Me?” when I wasn’t even familiar with her work, so I already knew she was a treat. If Mindy is reading this and would ever like to be my best friend, I will wholeheartedly take on this role. It’s really a no brainer, Mindy. You’ll always be the funnier, more fashionable one.
