The concept for this book and the description gave me high hopes for a fun summer read. I was disappointed. It wasn’t terrible, but the writing was flat. The humor wasn’t quite funny enough, the descriptive passages didn’t come alive for the most part. The last few chapters were much better than the rest of the book.

This was an entertaining audiobook. The narration was very good and I enjoyed the story, but the story just got really, really crazy! It's almost as if the author picked random topics out of a hat to see what the main character would run into next! The story had some great spots but also some stretches where I was wishing it would hurry up and get over. I'd still say it's worth a listen if you don't mind crazy.

I gotta say though that the ending was almost better than what I had hoped for & I laughed out loud when his wife was making crab cakes!
I really enjoyed this, on-the-rails esq, story. But I want to know what happened to eternal Ben. And would like to know more of the universe.
