This book is much more emotional and its darker than the first book by far. The dual pov (which is also featured in the first book) is much more impactful, for example something would happen and you begin to think "I need to know how the other pov reacts to this". I wanna say this took me around double the time it took me to read the first book, so maybe 2 weeks, it didn't grab me as much as the first did. I won't read it again, but it was a good read and a must-read if you've read the first.
