I stand by Zade and Addie supremacy!!!!! You can say what you want, but this book showed how much the pair loved each other and had my heart swelling just as much as I was crying over the events that had happened. Their dynamic is addicting, I never want to stop reading about them.

Always make sure to read trigger warnings, as this book is significantly darker than the first. I wanted to cry/did cry throughout the whole book, honestly, it was hard to read but I also couldn’t stop reading. I had to see this cat and mouse duo through to the end. And can we just all appreciate how Zade has softened for Addie? We all need a man who would go to the lengths he did for Adeline, if you don’t love me as deeply as Z, I don’t want it.

10/10 recommend reading these books, I’m so glad I decided to dive into the world of Zade and Addie

I’m traumatized and angry

I rated this book 4*. This is the second book in the duet. The theme of this book is so much darker than the previous book. However, you emotionally connect to Adeline during her stay with her abusers... You get a sense as to how serious her situation is and the situation others face. Characters you're supposed to hate are definitely the ones you do. With Sibby and Jay becoming key characters in their own respectful ways.

Adeline went through so much in this book, but it was wonderful to see her grow as a character due to it and make herself stronger. Zade was also interesting due to him being so close to losing control to get Adeline back. Both the characters have developed so much, and the way Zade will do anything for Adeline warms your heart.

For the first half of the book, I had to take breaks reading it due to the dark themes and my own personal trauma... please keep the triggers in mind.

I'd recommend this book to those who aren't put off by the triggers, as the theme is very heavy in this book but seeing Z and his love for Adeline, along with her character development it's lovely, you've just got to get past the first half of the book, Jay definitely made me giggle with how he is with Zade.

I enjoyed this book so much, it is very graphic so TW, I am glad I read this and was able to understand a lot of how to deal. I loved it. I honestly love this book more than the first one
