Reads a bit YA, the middle of the book was much better but then the end was sort of predictable. I didn’t end up caring much about the characters, I felt like it was hard to connect with them. That being said, the story has an interesting premise. Wanted to like this a lot more, probably won’t continue the series

Usually first book in a series convince me to continue with the last 100 pages or so. This book was entertaining with twists and turns throughout. If anything the ending actually made me drop 1/4 of a star as it wasn’t as good as the rest of the book since I saw that last twist coming. Excited to continue this series.
This was incredible. I felt connected to all the characters in some way and felt apart of their journey. Islington is such a master at setting the scene and putting an amazing story together. So many times my heart sunk and so many times it was warm. Such a great read!!!
