I absolutely loved this book. The writing was phenomenal. One of the things that really stood out to me was the author’s ability to tell the same story from two different perspectives without it ever feeling repetitive or dull. The transitions between viewpoints were seamless, and I especially appreciated how the characters interpreted the same events differently through their dialogue and interactions.

I found the story incredibly reflective. I loved how the author explored the idea that people are more than just appearances—that having a pretty face doesn’t make someone a good person. I loved how that was explored not through just bryce and julianne's story, but through bryce's parents story as well.

Considering how young they were, I thought the ending was a very fitting and realistic conclusion. you can know someone without really knowing them, they really hadn't talked even if they had lived across the street the entire time. It left their romance open-ended in a way that felt honest. He found a lot of qualities he really liked in her, but there was still so much they didn’t understand/know about each other.

Last note :I now understand why so much of the movie script used direct lines from this book because they were just phenomenal
