I just saw Skittles read the UK and realized I didn't review. It is cute so cute but falls into the "boys will be boys and will have no self restraint" trap at some moments but also Bryce is so sweet to Juli.

I wasn't sure this book was really meant for young adults -- it seemed like a nice flashback to the way adolescent life feels, but viewed from the outside. I never really felt like I was in either Juli or Bryce's head, even though that's obviously what the author was attempting. Still, she did a great job of getting the reader to sympathize with Juli, at least. But since that's the natural inclination, sympathizing with her, it may have been nice to work on the Bryce character just a bit more. Although it was rewarding to see him "flip", and we more or less understood why he did it, I never really came around to liking him.
