This is the story of yet another tortured Sem demon brother, Lore. We've met him briefly in previous books where we learn that he's an assassin that was sent to kill the Sem brothers, neither of which knew he existed.

In this book Lore gets his final assignment before he can be free but as expected, it's not an easy one.

Iness is a new character, a Memitim aka "angel in training", who's bound to protect Lore's new target.

Things get complicated from there on with our heroes gaining the upper hand one moment to lose it the next. Their paths cross with the other Sem brothers and their problems all form a big tangled mess, that in form with the previous books gets its own neat little solution and everything falls right into place in the end. This being a romance, we expect a happy ending and right on track, our heroes' problems disappear so they can live happily ever after.

Next comes Sin's story, who has finally met the Sem brothers (and Conall who sounds like fun) and caused a bit of a mess. Let's see how they fix that one...

Ya know... I always thought Wraith was my favorite, but something about Lore's story really touched me! Gosh I can't get enough of these characters

Once again another awesome read in this series. I was not as drawn to the character Lore as I was to Wraith in the previous book. The story is well thought out and written beautifully. There is never a dull moment and something is always happening. You have no choice but to fall in love with the characters. Larissa Ione takes you on a fantastic otherworldly thrilling ride as the Seminus demon brothers fight for life and love.

3.75 stars.

Finally the series got closer to the lords of deliverance: more focused on plot and characterization. I liked Ideas and Lore very much.
Only con: being a Paranormal romance with quite of sex thrown out all over the place.

Another addition to the series I'm coming back to.

Lore, newly found Seminus brother and the professional assassin, gets his final assignment. He has to kill Kynan, the brothers old friend. If he failed his sister Sin will be punished for his failure. Unfortunately, Kynan is guarded by Idess, an earthbound angel and if she fails her mission of protecting her Priories, she will never become a full angel.

I liked the characters and the plot. It was full of action. And the whole story was longer then the previous books so the romance part was also better developed.

I really like Sin so I will definitely read the next book in this series. Especially that she and Con make an interesting couple.

Idess might be my favorite girl in the series. She is badass! Love her name and the origin and her family ties...wicked! I warmed up to Lore, decided he wasn't a total fucknut afterall, just misunderstood. There was so many communication errors between characters in this book and that's usually something I can't stand. However, it fit the overall plot line so I could put away my general prejudice. And have I mentioned Idess is badass?
