While the other NFH books have been light hearted romps into romance, Double Dare was filled with more intensive relationship drama, and benefited from it.

2 stars at best

This book was so repetitive and uhm yea boring as all hell. I have read a few of this authors books which just doesn't add up to whats in this mess. And seriously "LICKED HER LIPS HUNGRILY" is on every other page. REALLY THOUGH?!! I cant see how you could put that line in a book and hoped to have anyone's attention... bleh... boring, jouncy, repetitive. keep trying.

I enjoyed the beginning of this book. The friendship that started when they were children. I loved how they constantly antagonized one another. But, this book jumped around way too much. Although you see the friendship, you don't get the story of how they started sleeping together. It's just there. There are a bunch of things that happen suddenly with no explanation. The Bradford boys are always entertaining as are their spouses.
This book was just very choppy and I felt like there were a lot of pieces that were just thrown in. And some of the things that they did to one another were so immature and potentially hurtful.

This is first book from r. l where i have to rate it this low. It was just beneath my expectations. I thought this one blow all the other ones but i was wrong.

Typical Bradford awesomeness!
Loved it, of course.

I love this series. But this book however was not my favorite but it still was really good. Hadn’t it been for the great emotional story line, I would probably not have liked it that much. Because it was a little to much drama and deceiving for my taste. 4 stars! An complete review can be read at The Book Chick

I just feel meh about this book. I wanted to like it, but I hate that she kept something so huge away from him for so many years. I guess I understand why she didn't do it when they were younger. And even later on she tried to tell herself that he didn't really lover but I mean they were sleeping together for 6 years! You can't be someones "fuck buddy" that long without catching feelings.

It was honestly just too much drama. I love this series because it is silly humor. Two couples who argue and play tricks on each other is just funny and then you have the Bradfords with their freaking food. That family is a bunch of nuts. But this one wasn't funny.. it was too serious for what I was expecting.

The best part about the book was the little extra I got at the end of the book that wasn't even about them it was about Jodi and Danny having a baby. They gave her drugs and that's just freaking funny.

I can't believe I actually finished this book! I did, but is was a close call.

I think the author meant for us to feel sorry for both of her MCs, but I just couldn't. Oh, I did feel sorry for Darrin. Marybeth, not so much. Don't get me wrong, she was given a shitty hand by fate, but how she handled that made me just dislike her.

I really enjoy the authors writing style and the Bradfords are just so adorable. When writing Darrin, she didn't quite hit the mark. Bot he and Marybeth came a cross as childish, bratty and inconsiderate. Usually Bradfords don't mean for things to go wrong, but with some of the things in this book, it's just plain mean.

Another great read from this series. I don't think it was as good as some of the previous books but I still loved it anyways. Can't wait for the next one to come out.
