This book did absolutely nothing for me. I was hopeful, but ended up feeling disconnected from the characters and story entirely. The narration didn't give any emotion, or stir any emotion in me, and some parts were just plain off-putting. Not much to say about this one, unfortunately.

glad to know the great gay doubt of “do i wanna be them or do i wanna be WITH them” has been existing since forever

plus this has one of the prettiest writings i’ve ever seen in a memoir like “What more could I have done when I did not know that to love is both to seek and to be sought? For me love was nothing but a dialogue of little riddles, with no answers given” like shutuuppp

damn, even I could feel the pressure of the angel and devil sitting on Yukio's shoulders

First 70 pages, 5/5. Then the rest of the story changed, went a new direction, which wasn’t my taste so much. The writing was mind boggling, beautifully written, so distinct. That alone warrants a read
