i was so bothered by amami i couldn’t even fully enjoy the extra long side story at the end of the volume 😔 the bit of it being someone’s expectations of a couple and then a chapter about their true selves made this so interesting, but i guess if i want quick yuri fixes i’ll just have to read more anthologies! (unless someone makes a cut of this manga cutting out all of the actual plot and just has the side couples. i’d read that)

Ahhhh!! The plot is basically a lesbian with an amazing gaydar takes on the world xD. It’s so good and cute ;333 Bonus: her best friend is in love with her and her teacher is in love with her arranged marriage fiancé (the plot is crazy xD) I also absolutely love the art of this manga, it’s so cute! >\\<

I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this volume and how much more invested I felt after reading it. The way that Kokoro and Amami's relationship and feelings about their circumstances developed during this volume was the best part. Amami's feelings are especially relatable, and I like her as a protagonist. I feel like it's doing a much better job at both providing us interesting glimpses into the lives of other couples while also making sure it is moving Kokoro's story along. The side stories were very cute and I wish we got to see more from the curry girls' relationship. I think I will be continuing the series.
